• Topic – Quadrilateral and their types
• Duration of the Period – 40 to 60 minutes
• Class / grade  - 6 , 7 and 8

Instructional objectives in behavioral terms –

1. Knowledge – The teacher/trainee teacher will be able to define the types of quadrilateral.
2. Understanding – The teacher/pupil-teacher will be able to clarify the types of quadrilateral.
3. Application – The teacher/trainee teacher will be able to construct various types of quadrilateral.
4. Skill – The students will be able to draw the diagram for solving the problem related to the concept.

Previous knowledge assumed – It is assumed by the teacher/pupil-teacher that students are familiar with quadrilateral.

Previous knowledge testing – In order to test the previous knowledge and criticism skill of the students, the teacher / pupil-teacher will ask the following questions.

Announcement of the topic – Finding the students unable to answer the last question, the teacher / pupil-teacher will announce the topic by saying “Well students, today we shall discuss the types of the quadrilateral.

Presentation of Criticism Lesson Plan– 

Recapitulation – 

In order to recapitulate the students, teacher/pupil-teacher will ask the following questions

Match the following –

1. Right angle     -    Less than 90 degree
2. Acute angle     -    equal to 180 degree
3. Complete angle     -    90 degree
4. Straight angle     -    equal to 360 degree

Home Work and assignment –

Learn the angle and its types and write in your notebook with the figure.
